Job description
- You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of Mobile Applications (Native/Flutter) and Web Portals through comprehensive manual and API testing.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Execute manual test cases for Mobile Applications and Web Portals, focusing on Business Banking features.
- Conduct API testing using Postman and Swagger.
- Perform in-depth technical investigations using interceptor tools such as Charles Proxy, Proxyman, and Burp Suite to inspect network traffic and analyze API requests/responses.
- Verify API logs and data correctness behind the scenes – not just UI testing.
- Design, execute, and maintain test cases/scenarios based on complex business requirements.
- Identify, log, and track defects in Jira with proper evidence (Logs, Screenshots, Recordings).
- Collaborate with Developers, QA, and Business teams across different squads.
- Follow up on blockers and defects proactively until resolution.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in software testing.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger).
- Strong proficiency with interceptor tools (Charles Proxy, Proxyman, or Burp Suite).
- Solid experience using Jira for defect management.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Logical thinking with a good understanding of system flows and business logic.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
