After a run of nearly 24 years, the Bangkok Post Database section recently went to press for the last time. Many readers have commented on how much they will miss its mix of technology news, reviews, editorial commentary, and (often irreverent) humor. I feel the same, and am honored to have been included in the final issue.

I remember the impression it made on me shortly after my arrival here that a weekly, IT-focused supplement even existed; it gave me confidence that I was on the right track in choosing to establish myself in Thailand. So being part of the last Post Database has special, personal significance and reflects the success ISM Technology Recruitment has achieved over the past 20 years.
